Hope all of you out there who are sharing my blog spot are enjoying our postings! If you are please leave a comment!
-Today we were up as usual by 07:00am to share the glory of a new day! Fresh backs, renewed energy! Freash sunshine and rain all together! WE actually had several rainbows today!
-2 of the guys worked hard at getting 7 new lights up on the wall surrounding the wall around the orphanage(Robert and Mike)they pulled about 300 feet of wire to make this happen! Tonight we saw the lights shining for the first time and they were beautiful!-
-Others of us went to the church work site and blended sand, cement, and rocks together various ways and at various times to make cement happen and steps and different formations! This group was Don, Rick, Greg, Fonda and Brian. We tried hard to beat the heat, but I think it beat us instead! I (Fonda)got to drive the big van several times to the river to get rocks. We had lots of good exercise going on to pick rocks (I'm talkin lots of rocks)WE were sweatin!
-later this afternoon all of us but 4 took off to the river to swim about 17 miles away! The river was swift, cool and clear as a bell! Good thing it was clear since Rick accidently dropped our van keys into the river and had to dive approx into 12 feet of water 2-3 times to retrieve our keys. Thanks goodness he got them! On the was back as luck would have it -suddenly our right front tire went flat-we were about 7 miles from Hosanna House! We got the tire changed and got back for supper late, but had a wonderful supper prepared by Carole, we were all a little extra tired I think! WE had devotions at 8:00pm with the kids and played with them a little while, then we were back to our bunk rooms-we have played darts, sat around on our veranda and talked and drank coffee and hot tea! Suddenly I fill wide awake and full of energy, its time to blog-Thanks for keeping up with us--if you have comments we are open--signing off-your hostess Fonda Cassidy from Belize

Comments:
It sounds like things have been very busy down in Belize. It also sounds like a lot of hot, sweaty, but worth it work. I'm glad God has been do good to you all by allowing you to do these great things. I'm also glad to hear there are some crazy, funny, enjoyable times along with the work. Keep up the GREAT work.
-Kira Cassidy-
