Day 2 Monday Feb. 11
Royce, Joyce and Betty were the first ones up in the morning. Had coffee and breakfast then devotions. Bob and Darlene arrived and Bob gave Royce a list of things he could do while Bob was taking kids to school, then he went on into town.
Joyce did dishes and then she and Betty went up to the house and did the dishes after the kids had eaten their breakfast.
It was decided that Joyce would make curtains for the living room where the work teams live. While she was working on that, Darlene and Betty were trying to get the right mattress on each of the kids beds plus beds in the men and ladies rooms. In the meantime Royce built shelves in Miss Joans room, installed phones, put knobs on all the dressers and hung a mirror. After lunch we finished our jobs and the ladies had a cup of tea and rested a while. Royce hung the volley ball net. Bob, Darlene and Betty went into Dangeria for vegetables from the market and bread from the bakery. Got home, had supper and went to the house for devotions with the kids that were led by Joyce. Back to the work team house - had coffee and cookies and chatted for a while - then to bed.
