Hosanna House--Belize

Today the men worked on a bus stop shelter. We dug footers and placed forms for concrete tomorrow. It was very hot! We spent most of the morning doing this. Doug fixed the John Deer mower. There are also 3 other workers here at this time and the two ladies and our two girls worked on some Valentine cards for a party later that evening. Later in the evening we all finally got together for devotions and the Valentine Party that Darlene set up. We started with devotions then Darlene had two games it was really neat to see the kids laughing and having a good time. All the kids got plenty of cards, candy, and small knick-knacks. I remember one of the girls from when I was here last year. She seemed so distant at the time and I left here ,then, hoping that she would be able to deal with her situation. Tonight I saw her again and she was laughing, was relaxed, and just enjoying everything.
