We had a really early breakfast then left here at 7 AM to go to the Xunantunich Archaeological Reserve - or the Mayan ruins. On the way we stopped at Springfield, the old order Mennonite community, so Nikki and Jerika could visit them.
At the Mayan Ruins, a guide took us on a tour and told us all about the history of the ruins. It was very interesting. We got back at about 4 pm and found we had no water because a work crew had broken a pipe nearby. They said it would be fixed soon. We have a reserve supply that will last for a while.
These are some things we saw at Springfield. The farm we stopped at made metal brackets for their windows
The Mennonite Colony uses their own type of money to exchange between themselves.

This is the grinder run by horse power that was used to sharpen saw blades.
